How many of you actually make a “to-do list” the night before but are never able to accomplish the things the next day?
How many of you just can’t get things done no matter how hard you try ? Is procastionation is your best trait ? Well let me tell you that you are not alone, this world is full of people like you and me.
People are often trapped in the viscious cycle of analysis-paralysis which includes over planning followed by not doing the actual work followed by feeling guilty n drowning in self pity which is again followed by excessive planning including tiniest bit of detail possible but still finding themselves unable to complete the goddamn task!
Frustrating right ? I feel you.
So in order to become productive, the first thing you got to do is to get out of analysis- paralysis. And in order to do that all you need to do is stop.
STOP investing too much of your energy in planning stuff.Literally stop planning things for a moment and take a deep breath in.You need to realise that planning alone will not make you productive automatically. Doing the actual work and taking action will.
Although having a blueprint is important but if you spend all your energy in perfecting the blueprint, there will be no energy left in u to do the actual needed work which is btw is the only way to get things done!!
So mentally prepare yourself to focus more on taking action. Just concentrate on completing the task.Don’t let your mind wander.Stop thinking and just do it!! Once you start focusing more on taking action rather than contemplating and planning out stuff you will automatically become more productive.
Another thing which you also need to do is to be the master of your own brain and not the slave.Don’t give into the temptation. Don’t look for the easy way out. And lastly Don’t be lazy. Just motivate yourself and get going.
It is as simple as that.
This is what i did in order to become more Productive and Proactive. The above mentioned ways helped me tremendously and hope it helps you too.
Have an amazing and productive day 😉
